Brother Oswald

A monk from the Edgeville Monastery who came to Lumbridge to meet with the priests of the Lumbridge Chapel. Thaddeus escorted him through the Lumbridge Swamp on his way to the Wizards’ Tower.

Oswald was once a follower of Guthix, but reasoned that Guthix was too far removed from this realm. Saradomin favors humanity, and humanity needs him now more than ever. He keeps in contact with Thad and teaches him the ways of the monks.

To test his faith on a pilgrimage, he starved himself, hoping to commune with one of the Gods. He met Death instead, who took his gold and sent him on his way.
